Who are we?

We are a small team of developers with a passion for creating quality software.

We believe that simplicity is the key to creating beautiful solutions.

We are based at Tremough Innovation Centre, the main technology innovation centre in the South West.

We have 2 Scrum Alliance certified Scrum Masters in the team.

We are about to receive ISO 9001 quality certification.

What do we do?

We offer a custom software development service with a focus on the broadcast industry.

At the moment we are creating workflow solutions that act as the glue between systems.

We work in an agile, iterative, way delivering business value by providing demonstrable working code in short cycles.

How do we do it?

Too many software projects either don’t work, overrun, or go over budget.

By using an agile methodology to manage our software development process we deliver working software, often.

Software that can provide business value straight away.

By working closely with our clients to prioritise features we deliver the most important features first.

By only asking clients to commit to small development cycles the budget can never overrun or get out of hand.

Who do we do it with?

We work with a range of clients. Both large and small.

Our largest client at the moment is Miranda (now Grass Valley) but we treat everyone with the same respect.

We are currently expanding and seeking to work with new clients.

What do we use?

We work mostly with Microsoft technology including Windows Workflow Foundation, C# .Net, SQL Server.

Open Source

Because we believe in the benefits and opportunities that open source software can bring we are also looking at:

  • Node.js (a software platform for scalable server-side, network enabled, javascript applications)

  • Noflo (a javascript flow based programming framework gaining traction)

  • Nuxeo (a media asset management system already in use at some large IT/broadcast organisations)

  • ElasticSearch (a distributed lucene based search engine with a REST api)

  • Logstash (a centralised pipeline for processing log messages useful for operational analytics)

  • Kibana (a web based data visualisation tool)

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
